TechHub: new hub for London's tech community

If you haven’t already heard of it, TechHub is a really exciting new project from Mike Butcher and Elizabeth Varley.

Based in London, TechHub will provide consists in two main community aspects.

First, it provides physical working space for tech companies right at the 'Silicon Roundabout' (City Road), where there a cluster of tech companies. The idea is that TechHub is affordable and accessible.

There are lots of ways to use the space. You can pay a monthly £275 and get desk space, chair, wifi/wired data, power, use of the kitchen area, printing/ photocopying,     a mailing address at TechHub London. Other benefits include: listing in the Members list, access the exclusive member network online, and free member-only networking and other events. But. TechHub is really serious about being accessible and flexible: minimum sign-up is one month and you can cancel with just one month’s notice.     For international members who just want to use the space form time to time, you can be charged at a daily rate. You will be able to book a co-working space online before you arrive, so you don't need to worry about not having a desk space or power to plug into.

Second, the founders want TechHub to serve as a general meeting place for start-ups, entrepreneurs, developers, investors, press, industry bloggers and others who are “part of the global technology ecosystem”.  Look out for an exciting programme of events open to the public.

Want to celebrate this great new addition to London’s entrepreneurial landscape? TechHub is hosting its launch party this Friday 9th July.

Places are limited so get online and book your place.

Drinks will be served from 7pm, and the party will continue at CAMP, the local bar next door.
